Terms of Service
Last updated: Last updated date to be confirmed on formal publication.
These terms govern access to and use of Hotliney. By creating a workspace or using a Hotliney call link, you agree to them.
Service description
Hotliney lets a business turn a link into a browser-based calling channel, so customers can call the business directly from a page without installing an app, and route calls to team members or, where enabled, an AI voice agent.
Account and workspace responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when setting up a workspace, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for the actions taken by team members you invite into your workspace.
Acceptable use and prohibited misuse
You may not use Hotliney to place unsolicited or abusive calls, to harass or defraud callers, to impersonate another business, or to violate applicable telecom, consumer protection, or data protection laws. We may suspend a workspace found to be misused.
Caller consent and recording responsibility
If you enable call recording or collect information from callers, you are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required under the laws that apply to you and for informing callers accordingly. Hotliney is not a party to the call between you and your caller.
Trial and plan entitlements
New workspaces start on a free trial with the entitlements described on our pricing page. A payment provider is not yet connected, so no paid checkout or automatic billing is currently available; upgrading to a paid plan will be announced separately once billing is live.
Service availability
We work to keep Hotliney reliable, but the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment. Calling depends on the caller's own browser, network, and device, which are outside our control.
AI voice agents (beta)
AI voice agent features are in beta. Until a live voice connection is fully enabled for your workspace, an AI agent's behavior in demos or previews may be simulated rather than a live production call. We will clearly indicate when a feature is in beta.
Suspension
We may suspend or restrict access to a workspace that violates these terms, poses a security risk, or is used to place abusive or fraudulent calls, with notice where reasonably possible.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Hotliney evolves. We will update the date on this page when we do, and material changes will be communicated to workspace owners.
Governing law
The governing law and jurisdiction for these terms will be specified here once confirmed by the project owner; see the configuration note below.
Governing law is not yet configured (see src/config/legal.ts).
